This verse is only refering to the heveanly hosts or the stars and planets. if you have a picture of God you are still worshipping him. Jesus is God, so why would He get upset for us having a picture of Him for our great love towards Him?

Just to add another point: We don't believe that we actually carry the sin of adam and eve but the corrupt nature they recieved by disobeying God. So we inherit their corrupt nature and not the actual sin.

Actually, you don't recieve the Holy Spirit from baptism. you are just washed from the corrupt nature. You recieve the Holy Spirit from the Holy Mayron which you recieve in Chrismation, which generally happens right after baptism.
